What is GYROKINESIS® ?

GYROKINESIS® is a unique form of exercise created by Juliu Horvath. It is designed to increase range of motion and strength, reduce stress, improve posture, and increase vitality. 

The exercises are characterised by a combination of rhythmic breathing and curved movements. The movements were originally developed for rehabilitation from injury, so even people who are not confident in their fitness or who are not in the habit of exercising can start without difficulty.

There are two ways to do the exercises: seated on a stool or floor work, so please prepare a stool and a mat.

 

Online Classes

Every Thursday (from 10:00 to 11:00) online group class in Japanese and English (Brussels time, Belgium)

Some classes may not be available due to vacations or other reasons. Please check the schedule for class availability.

Introduction of Trainers

Keyna Nara

Keyna Nara began classical ballet at the age of four. After graduating from the Rotterdam Dance Academy, she worked as a stage performer in contemporary dance and theater based in Europe. Currently she also teaches GYROTONIC® and GYROKINESIS® in Brussels.

GYROTONIC® Classes

I am currently teaching  GYROTONIC® classes at Corpus Studios in Brussels. GYROTONIC® is a full-body workout using a pulley tower and handlebar unit created by Juliu Horvath. The exercises, which combine stretching and strengthening of physical functions effectively strengthens the core, reduces stiff shoulders and back pain, relieves lack of exercise, and relieves stress.
